With over 5,000 mailing lists to choose from on the Electric Marketing website, finding the exact data that you are looking for can take time.
Here are a few hacks on finding your way around.
First up is start with the search box. On the home page, it is right in the centre of a yellow box under Search For Email Lists. The search box is also on every page in the top right corner. Look for ‘Enter A Search Term’.
Search for a job title or industry sector and as soon as you hit Enter, new search boxes offering more specific options will appear under the heading Refine Your Search.
Second key point is to get specific from the off and decide whether you are looking for just email addresses or email addresses and postal addresses. This cuts the number of lists coming up in your search by half, making it all easier to navigate. This decision also makes a difference to the online price. It is 30p for an email address and 35p per contact for both the email address and postal address. All records come with a named contact, job title, company name and phone number. You can make this choice in the box marked List Type.
If you have entered a job title in the search box, in the centre of the page, you will see all the lists available which include that job title. For some job titles such as the Sustainability Manager list there will be just one list available (149 contacts for £44). For job titles such as Marketing Director or HR Director, there will be hundreds of options as we have thousands of these contacts and can split them by a multitude of ways. List search results are displayed in order of price - highest first.
Looking for some industry sectors? Click the drop-down menu marked Industry and see 140 industry sectors. Click on a sector and the lists we have for that sector will appear on the page. Click on a list to see the number of contacts and the price for that list and then scroll down to see more lists that go well with that list.
Looking to target companies by their size? Huge, large and small, we have hundreds of companies to choose from, all with their number of employees and annual sales figures on their record. This size data is included free of charge with all of our lists. Only the very small companies and the companies which are registered outside the UK do not have company size data attached.

1. Click Mailing Lists on the yellow bar at the top of the page
2. Make that choice between
Email Addresses, Postal Addresses and Phone Numbers
OR
Email Addresses and Phone Numbers
3. Select from the list of
Mailing lists by job title only
Mailing lists by region and job title
You will then be shown all the lists available, with a number showing how many contact names are on the mailing list with a price.
The price is the number of contacts on the list x 30p (or x 35p for postal addresses)
And finally if you are looking for a list that combines three search criteria, please call or email the office with your specification. We will run a count just for you and come back to you with a price and number of contacts available. The price for these specific lists is 40p per contact for email address and 45p per contact for email address and postal address.
