Email Marketing Lists Of Corporate Sports Sponsors

It's hard to ignore the international sporting events in Europe this summer. UEFA's Euro 2024 Football Championship kicks off in Germany, and the biggest of them all, the Olympic Games comes to France in July.  Although sponsoring the Olympics requires budgets that only the multi-nationals can muster; there are different levels of sponsorship so that the host country's major companies can benefit from worldwide exposure.

At the top of the budgetary tree there are 'worldwide Olympic partners': the truly global megabrands who tend to sponsor the Olympic Games every time it comes round: Atos, Bridgestone, Coca-Cola, Deloitte, Intel, Omega, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, Toyota and Visa. Online brands AirBnB and Chinese trading site Alibaba are also in this group.

The second tier are 'official sponsors of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games'. These are big brands in France: French co-operative bank Groupe BPCE; the supermarket Carrefour; electricity supplier EDF; French luxury brand LVMH; the French IT and telecom company Orange, and biopharmaceutical company Sanofi.

Next up are the ten 'official supporters' of the games and again, these are mostly French brands; Groupe ADP which manages airports; Air France; steel and mining group ArcelorMittal; Caisse des Depots which has built half of the athletes' Olympic Village; Cisco; logistics and ports group CMA CGM; Danone; sports retailer Decathlon which opened its first ever store in Lille; French lottery operator FDJ; GL Events; French transport operator Ile-de-France Mobilites; sports brand Le Coq Sportif, and consultancy giant PwC.

After that 30 'official suppliers' to the Paris Olympics which are mainly French brands and include Air Liquide, Airweave (Japanese mattress manufacturer), DXC Technology, Egis, Fitness Park, Gerflor, Highfield (boats), Lyreco France, Miko (ice cream), OnePlan, Randstad, Re-uz, Saint-Gobain, Salesforce, French railways operator SNCF, Sodexo Live!, Technogym, Thermo-Fisher Scientific, Tountel Twist (non-alcoholic beer), Vinci, ViParis, and Westfield.

Of course every team has its own set of sponsors; Team GB has 'official partners' in Adidas, Aldi, British Gas, Deloitte, Dreams, Eurostar, NatWest and the University of Hull. Official suppliers to Team GB are Ben Sherman, Nyetimber (English sparkling wine), and Kuehne & Nagle.

We've put all of these generous sponsors together in a series of mailing lists, divided as always by job title. Our thinking is that these sponsors have allocated big budgets to be spent during the Games and have a limited time in which to spend them. A targeted approach at the right time could see a small chunk of that budget heading your way.

The XXXIII Olympiad in Paris starts on Friday 26 July, followed by the Paralympic Games running from 28 August until 8 September 2024.
