Clayton, Dubillier & Rice to buy WSH for £780m

WSH, the parent company of hospitality provider BaxterStorey and caterer Searcys, is to be sold to American private equity firm Clayton, Dubillier & Rice in a deal that values the it at £780m. The deal also includes Benugo, Caterlink, Holroyd Howe and Portico. WSH saw turnover hit £828m for the year to 29 December 2017. Pre-tax profit in the period rose 29% to £7.5m.
